Rev. Stephen George was born in a Christian family, his parents were Pastor Maxwell and Sushila George who Pastored the Church At Agra 'Bethel" for about 40 years.
| Their ministry in North India resulted in raising and sending at least 40 evangelists from our Church at Agra who started churches all over North India.
Stephen committed his life to the Lord at an early age of 11 years, but after struggling for over 6 years with temptation and sin was finally restored into God's Kingdom, by God's divine visitation at a deep BoreWell, where he contemplated Suicide. There he heard these words, " I have chosen you before you were conceived in your mothers womb and ordained you to be a prophet unto the Nations". |

At the age of nineteen, Stephen committed his life to the cause of the Gospel and came back to help his parents in he church ministry. At 23 years of age he became the Pastor of the Church at the home going of his father.
In the same year he also started holding Gospel Healing Crusades, by divine direction throughout hundreds of cities and towns all over North, North-East, Western and Central India, sometimes as many as about 40 Mass Crusades a year, bringing thousands of souls to the Lord each year.
Due to these crusades many independent Churches were established, but the ones that came under the banner of Beam India were Bethel Church, Agra 2.Shiloh Tabernacle, Pune(with a branch in Panchgani), 3. Zion Full Gospel Church in Baroda with a few branches in the Villages around the city, 4.Hebron Assembly, Moradabad (U.P), 5.Zion Church in Bilaspur(M.P) and in Shillong(Garo Hills).
